MAKING ROOM
As a church community, we have seen growth in numbers, in diversity, and in the ways we worship, serve, and care for one another. With this growth has come a gentle but clear invitation: to make room. Making Room is about hospitality — not just welcoming people at the door, but shaping a space where everyone can belong, move with dignity, pray deeply, worship freely, and encounter God.
What Is Changing?
- NEW DOOR, NEW FLOOR
- NEW SEATING, NEW HEATING
- NEW LIGHTING, MORE INVITING
To support a more welcoming, accessible, and flexible space, the following improvements are planned:
- An improved entrance area with a new glass door
- A new level floor to improve warmth and accessibility, with the baptismal font repositioned to enhance access.
- Pews removed, replaced with moveable, stackable seating
- Modern infra-red heating, providing more effective warmth
- Replacing outdated lighting with a warmer, more inviting scheme.
- Practical future-proofing for possible future developments
These changes allow our building to better serve worship, prayer, gatherings, community events, and the everyday life of the church.
