Children

St John’s is a place where every child can find friends, have fun, laugh loads, learn that God loves them unconditionally and discover who Jesus is.

With the easing of restrictions following the lockdown, we are delighted to be able to offer groups for primary school children at 11.00 am  during term time. These groups now begin in church with worship, bible reading and a video from the Bible Project and then move outdoors to the churchyard.  When the weather prevents outside activities, the children move into the Parish Hub.  Government guidelines for the gathering of groups is strictly followed.  Contact the church office or speak to someone from the welcome team who can direct you for more information.

All children are welcome and we seek to support all families and children no matter what their specific needs are. If your child is under 4 years, we ask for the parent/carer to accompany them to the activities.

Youth

We are so pleased that we are now also able to resume our youth groups for ages 11 - 17.  This group will meet in church at 11.00 am for worship, bible reading and a video from the Bible Project and then move outdoors for teaching.  This gives them a space to meet and explore the Christian faith.  When the weather prevents outside activities, the youth group will move into the Parish Hub.  Government guidelines for the gathering of groups is strictly followed.  Contact the church office or speak to someone from the welcome team who can direct you for more information.
