We are a local parish church at the heart of Copthorne with a vision to grow in love for God and each other
For nearly 150 years St John’s Church has been appreciated by numerous people as a location where life events are celebrated. We recognise that our current church building may not be suitable enough to meet all these needs. Instead, we want to rethink and re-imagine how to use our building in the best way possible, including meeting our environmental responsibilities. For this we need your help and would like to hear from you. Click here below to have your say...
We are part of the Diocese of Chichester and the Church of England. Our congregations are each different in style but all welcome people to join in worship, practical bible teaching, prayer and generosity. Our church building is open for personal prayer. For more information and how to book a place or how to join a service online go to our services page.
We believe that life is best lived in relationship with God. So if you'd like to explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus, we invite you to join the next online Alpha Course.
If you're new to St John’s, we'd love to get to know you; why not speak to some of the welcome team who will gladly help you with any questions you may have. Alternatively you can connect with us via our contact page, social media or call our office during their office hours.
We look forward to getting to know you!
