the joy of welcome

Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people (Luke 2:10)   Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise (Psalm 100:4)

• How does it feel to accept welcome and walk into the joy of celebration and community?

The good news of Christmas is that we are welcomed into God’s presence, where we find joy. The celebration of Christmas is that we are invited to welcome Jesus into our hearts.

• Have you found joy in God’s welcome?

PRAY

God of joy, thank you for your welcome. Jesus, thank you for the good news of Christmas. Spirit of joy, fill me and lead me into worship and praise. Help me know your joy this Christmas and enter your celebration with praise.

ACT
